How to Stop Windows Automatic Updates from Restarting Your Computer

Does this only stop the "restart your computer to finish" notification or does it stop automatic updates?
I assume it's the notification, in wich case this be a great tip!
Well, it does actually stop the automatic update service itself, but only until you either restart it during your current session, or reboot, which is what it wants you to do anyway.

Now i can at least leave my computer on, i have a bigger problem, when i put on my computer, it does come on, but the the hard drive does not kick in and nothing shows on the monitor, so i have to keep shutting it down by holding the ON Button and try again until it come on fully. Sorry Hard to explain. It could the connection between the mother board and power supply to hard drive, but i am not sure. any one else have any problem like mine? Thanks Again.
